What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an enjoyable state of mind, similar to daydreaming, in which a person becomes receptive to suggestions. The effects are a profound feeling of peace, relaxation and calmness.

Do I fall asleep when I am hypnotized?
You are not actually asleep or unconscious. In most cases the subject is fully aware of communication and is able to respond on request either verbally or by signal.

How deep does one go into a hypnotic trance?
Depth of hypnosis does vary with each person. Any level is sufficient to make change or break habits. The most important factor is your ability to accept and follow suggestions.

How does it work?
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The hypnotherapist is the facilitator giving the subject powerful suggestions that filter into the subconscious mind where change is able to take place.

What if I resist ?
If a person does not want to be hypnotized it simply won't happen. You can not be hypnotized against your will. Once you learn about hypnosis and feel a rapport with the hypnotherapist, resistance is lowered and you will enjoy the effects of the sessions and experience the positive results.
